통일의 꿈을 꿀 수 있도록
장대현중고등학교는 영호남 유일 학력인정 탈북대안학교입니다.
10년 전, 요양원 건물을 기증받아 시작된 장대현학교는 최대 20명을 수용할 수 있는 교실과 기숙사 규모를 갖고 있습니다.
수도권 밖, 충남 이하에 인가받은 유일한 대안학교라서 지방의 많은 학생들이 학교를 찾아옵니다. 이곳에 와서 공부하고 싶은 탈북학생들은 해마다 늘어가는데 교실과 기숙사 방이 부족해서 들어오지 못하는 상황입니다.
한 시민의 기부로 현재 학교 옆에 붙어있는 66평 상당의 부지를 학교 증축을 위해 마련하였으나, 이후 건축을 위한 기금이 모여지지 않아 7년째 도움의 손길을 기다리며 안타까운 시간을 보내고 있습니다.
새로 지어질 공간에는 과학실, 상담실, 오픈 북카페, 식당, 학생 및 교사 기숙사가 만들어질 예정입니다. 재능기부를 통해 증축 도면이 완성되어 있습니다.
증축 후에는 정원을 40명으로 증원하여 지방에 거주하는 많은 학생들이 이곳에서 통일의 꿈을 꿀 수 있을 것입니다.
통일이 되면 북한재건을 위해 고향으로 돌아가 통일한국을 세워갈 학생들이 밝고 건강하게 공부하며 생활 할 수 있는 공간이 만들어지도록 기도 해주세요!
To invite more students to dream of a unified Korea.
Jangdaehyun Middle & High School is the only recognized alternative school for North Korean defectors in the southern part of South Korea (Youngnam & Honam area). Established ten years ago through the donation of a nursing home building by an anonymous giver, Jangdaehyun School currently has classrooms and dormitories to accommodate up to 20 students. As the only alternative school recognized outside the capital region, many students from the provinces come to the school. However, despite the increasing number of North Korean defectors and their children who want to study here, the shortage of classrooms and dormitory rooms prevents them from coming. A 66-pyeong (218.18㎡) plot of land next to the school has been secured for school expansion through the donation of a citizen, but for the past seven years, the lack of funds for construction has been waiting for help. In the newly built space, there will be science labs, counseling rooms, a book cafe, a cafeteria, and dormitories for students and teachers. The expansion plans have been completed through talent donation from an architect. After expansion, the capacity will increase to accommodate 40 students, allowing many students living in the provinces to receive quality education. Please pray for the creation of a space for our students to learn and grow up healthy so they can thrive in the future, leading the unified Korea.
