글로벌교육

장대현중고등학교는 글로벌교육 전문기관입니다. 미국 국무부 풀브라이트재단에서 파견된 원어민영어교사가 상주하며, 전교생 독일어교육, 그 밖의 외국어수업을 선택해 수강할 수 있습니다. 우수학생은 독일이나 미국 등 해외연수 기회가 있습니다.

네, 인가를 받았습니다. 2022년 11월 부산광역시교육청으로부터 각종학교로 인가를 받아, 2023년 3월 인가학교로서 새롭게 개교하였습니다.
2014년에 부산광역시교육청 대안교육 위탁교육기관으로 지정되어 8년간 지역사회와 함께 성장해왔고, 이제는 더 좋은 교육환경을 제공할 수 있게 되었습니다.

네, 받을 수 있습니다. 본교는 인가 대안학교로 중, 고등 교육과정을 이수하면 각각의 학력을 인정 받을 수 있습니다. 검정고시를 치를 필요 없이 곧 바로 대학에 진학이 가능합니다.

고등과정 졸업 후 대학에 진학하거나 취업을 할 수 있습니다. 적성검사, 명사특강, 체험 프로그램 등 다양한 직업에 대한 정보를 얻고 직간접적 경험을 해볼 수 있습니다. 고등학생들은 대학진학을 희망할 시 희망 학과를 미리 경험해볼 수 있는 대학청강, 대학탐방 프로그램에, 취업을 준비하는 학생들은 지역사회와 연계한 인턴쉽 프로그램에 참여할 수 있습니다.

제3국출생 탈북민자녀 등 한국어 교육이 필요한 학생들은 일대일 또는 소그룹으로 한국어 교육과정을 병행하고 있습니다.

정원 내 모집인원이 확정되면 매년 10월 홈페이지 공지사항을 통해 모집 요강을 발표, 원서접수를 받습니다. 1차 서류전형, 2차 심층면접으로 진행됩니다. 정시 후 결원이 발생할 시 수시 모집도 진행하고 있습니다.

장대현중고등학교 학생들은 서로 다른 환경과 문화 속에서 살아온 아이들이 기숙생활을 통해 함께 통일을 연습하는 곳입니다. 공동체 생활을 통해 타인에 대한 이해와 배려를 배우고, 서로를 존중함으로써 공동체의 소중함을 배워가고 있습니다. 기독교 신앙 안에서 자신의 정체성을 확립하여 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 방법을 선후배, 동급생과의 관계 속에서 실천하고 있습니다.

네, 가능합니다. 본교는 인가 대안학교로, 정해진 교육과정을 이수하면 해당 학력을 인정받아 다른 학교로 전학이 가능합니다. 단, 고등학교의 경우 전학을 가고자 하는 학교의 규정, 절차, 교육적 방침에 의해 가능하지 않을 수 있습니다.

학교 생활 중 휴대폰 사용은 평일에는 금지되며 금요일 저녁부터 주일 저녁까지 사용이 가능합니다. 정기 외박 등 집으로 귀가 시에 휴대폰을 지급합니다. 교내 컴퓨터실 사용은 정해진 시간에 가능합니다.

재학생 전원을 장학생으로 교육하여 기숙사비 및 학비가 무료입니다.

장대현중고등학교는 한국교회와 시민들의 사랑과 후원으로 운영됩니다. 학생들이 마음껏 공부할 수 있도록 기숙사비와 수업료 등의 학비는 장학제도를 통해 면제됩니다. 또한 우수학생은 유관기관과 연계하여 해외연수 장학생으로 선발합니다

장대현중고등학교는 통일부 허가법인인 (재)북한인권과 민주화 실천운동연합(이하 북민실)에서 운영합니다. 북민실은 대한민국에 정착하고 있는 탈북민을 돕고, 그들과 함께 북한인권 개선과 민주화 실현을 위해 한반도 평화통일을 준비합니다.

Jangdaehyun School is an alternative school for North Korean defector students, children of NKDs, and South Korean students who wish to prepare for the unification of Korea together.

- Jangdaehyun School provides foundational learning and multiple levels of classes. Students study together in their homerooms (Palm Tree, Tamarisk, Oak Tree, and Vine Tree) as well as receive individual lessons according to their needs.
- Our native English teachers teach conversational English and provide one-on-one tutoring. Students also attend Joyful English Camp during the summer and winter breaks.

Jangdaehyun School is classified as an unauthorized alternative school. However, it has received its accreditation from Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education as a substitute education institution for both Middle and High School.

Yes, it is possible. Our school is recognized as an accredited alternative school, and upon completion of the middle and high school curricula, each level of education is acknowledged. There is no need to take the GED exam; students can directly proceed to university.

Students can choose between two different tracks: college preparation or workforce preparation. We have college prep classes for students who wish to go to college upon graduation. Their senior year, students audit college classes to experience the desired major in advance. For those who want to apply for jobs, we provide career guidance classes and help them apply for various internships in the local community.

We provide Korean language classes based on students’ needs and levels.

The general admission for new students begins in October, unless announced otherwise. There are two stages in the process: application and interview. However, we do accept students from North Korea on a rolling basis.

Jangdhyun School students have come from various social, cultural, and educational backgrounds and they practice living together through dorm life. The residential life helps our students understand and respect one another, develop cultural awareness, and learn to appreciate their community. Students establish healthy identity in the Christian faith by learning to love God and their neighbors. They live out their faith through their community life; interacting with their classmates and seniors.

The minimum education expected at Jangdaehyun is three years. (Three years for Junior High and three years for high school) Students in the foster education track can transfer to their registered schools. Students in the GED track can choose to apply to a regular school after they have passed their junior high or high school GED.

Use of mobile phones or other personal electronic devices such as laptops or iPads during school is prohibited on weekdays. However, students can use payphones at the school if needed. Students will be able to use their mobile phones on Sundays for four hours after the Sunday service. Students get their mobile phones back when they go home for the first weekend of every month. Use of the computer room in the school is available at a fixed time.

Jangdaehyun School is affiliated with the North Korean Human Rights and Democratic Action Movement Foundation (hereinafter referred to as NKHRD) under the Ministry of Unification of South Korea. NKHRD is a non-profit organization to help the resettlement of North Korean defectors and prepare for the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula in order to improve North Korean human rights and to promote democratized society in the North.
